The Wonders of diaper rash ointment
Let me start by saying diaper rash ointment is awesome! If you own a bulldog, and a tube of diaper rash
ointment you are all set !
You can use any brand of ointment, you just want the one with 40% zinc oxide. Try to get one that doesn’t
have much of a smell to it ( bulldogs don’t like the smell of a strong scented ointment ) Diaper rash in infants
is caused by yeast, and since bulldogs are prone to yeast it works very well for them too.
Don’t let your dog lick off the ointment after you apply it. A dog would have to eat a pretty good amount of
ointment to make them sick but it is better if they don’t get any at all.
Diaper rash ointment creates a water proof barrier and works very well for
- Nose wrinkles ( just a small amount about the size of a pea spread in the wrinkle )
- Tail pockets ( some bulldogs have a tight tail and any moisture that gets in there drives them crazy )
- You might want to put on a rubber glove, put a small amount on your finger and reach up under the
- tail as far as you can reach and smear it around.
- Outside of the ears, under the ear flap is red and irritated ( this is usually caused by allergies and if
- the ear canals are fine and there is no infection, apply a small amount to your finger and smear it
- around the outside of the ears in all the little nooks and crannies ) Don’t put diaper ointment down in the ears !
- Bottoms of the feet are red and irritated ( you can apply a small amount to your finger, and rub it in between all the toes )
- Don’t let your dog lick their feet after you apply this. Diaper rash ointment works very well anytime you need to create
- a water proof barrier, and has endless possibilities !
